(Essence) - The estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown, and her father Bobby Brown have reached a legal settlement with TV One over the channel’s biopic of her life, TMZ reports.
The biopic was approved to air last month by a judge after her father Bobby Brown tried to the block the film from airing.
Though TV One won the right to air the movie, Brown’s defamation lawsuit against the network continued. The plaintiffs were asking for $2 million in damages, but it is not clear how much money they received.
The case has now been dismissed.
Brown claimed that the film falsely depicted him as a bad father to Bobbi Kristina and an abusive husband to the late Whitney Houston.
