Whether it was a home office model, a large cap value strategy, or a professionally managed account (the list goes on) for the same household, each required a separate account number, separate statements, separate 1099 reports, creating obvious and significant burdens for both clients and advisors.

Morningstar: 60-40 Will Return

(Morningstar Wealth) The classic balanced portfolio of 60% U.S. stocks and 40% U.S. bonds has rebounded from its worst year in more than a decade but remains besieged by naysayers and doubters. Morningstar And Envestnet Team Up On Personalized Retirement Accounts

The retirement groups within Morningstar Investment Management LLC ("Morningstar Retirement"), a subsidiary of investing insights firm Morningstar and Envestnet, a leading provider of integrated technology, intelligent data and wealth solutions, are planning to launch a managed accounts service for Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) powered by IRALOGIX. This new offering will be custodied by Matrix, a subsidiary of Broadridge and will make it easy for individuals—regardless of account balance—to receive personalized investment advice on their IRAs.
