Priscilla Presley has finally reached a million-dollar settlement over a legal dispute with granddaughter Riley Keough.

In a nutshell

The Presley family feud has been reportedly going on since the devastating death of Lisa Marie in January.

Priscilla argued that the amendment was not valid – claiming it was never delivered to her, misspelled her name and had a suspicious date.

She also claimed Lisa Marie’s signature appeared “inconsistent with her usual and customary signature”.

A series of issues escalated the feud between the family members as they went head-to-head in the legal battle.

Riley was reportedly heartbroken and furious at her grandmother's move to take the matter to court, but didn't file an objection to Priscilla's challenge.

However, a settlement has now been reached – and Lisa Marie’s estate is thought to have paid out an undisclosed sum thought to be “in the millions” to Priscilla, according to TMZ.

Attorney Ronson J. Shamoun announced in a Los Angeles court: “The parties would like to report that they’ve reached a settlement.”

What was said

Priscilla said in a statement: “My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie’s untimely passing.

“I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter. As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together.

“My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together. We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever.”

The family is thought to be “very content” with how the settlement was reached.
