Orion Advisor Solutions Founder and CEO Eric Clarke Announces Intention to Retire by Year-End

-Orion Advisor Solutions, the premier provider of transformative wealthtech solutions for fiduciary advisors, today announced a significant milestone in the company’s journey as Eric Clarke, founder and CEO, informed the Board of Directors of his intent to retire from Orion by the end of 2023. Eric will continue to serve on Orion’s Board of Directors and will work with the Board on a smooth leadership transition.

“As Orion approaches our 25-year anniversary in 2024, I’ve recognized this as the right time for me to retire from the CEO role while remaining an active member of the company’s Board of Directors,” said Eric Clarke. "I want to express my sincere gratitude to our advisor clients, team members, Board, and all involved in the RIA industry. I am humbled and grateful to be part of what we've built together over the past two-and-a-half decades."

Executive Chair of the Board, Charles Goldman is leading the CEO search along with a search committee of the Board. As the search for Orion’s new CEO commences, Charles shared his commitment to finding the right leader for the company's continued success: "In the coming weeks and months, the search committee and I will be working diligently to identify a successor who embodies Orion’s values, shares our vision, and possesses the leadership qualities necessary to lead this great company. The selection process will be thorough and thoughtful, ensuring that we find the right individual to lead Orion into the future, building on strong momentum and executing our vision to serve independent advisors with an integrated suite of fully connected, disruptive technology and investment solutions on an open architecture platform.”

Eric continues as Orion’s CEO until the successor is in place. Following that, he will assume a supporting leadership role until the end of 2023 and continue beyond year-end providing strategic direction and counsel as a member of Orion’s Board of Directors.
