(Boston.Com) - Have a spare $65 million laying around? Then you may be able to buy Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Los Angeles mansion, which is reportedly on the market amidst rumors that the couple is “heading down the path of divorce.”
TMZ and Entertainment Tonight are both reporting that Affleck and Lopez’s Beverly Hills home is being shopped by luxury realtor Santiago Arana of The Agency, with TMZ reporting that the asking price is “around $65 million.” Lopez and Affleck bought the 38,000-square-foot home together for $60.85 million in May 2023 following their marriage in the summer of 2022.
A timeline of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez divorce rumors
The reported sale of Affleck and Lopez’s mansion is the latest in a series of troubling signs for the couple, which has fueled the celebrity rumor mill for weeks.
Concern over the stability of Affleck and Lopez’s relationship first surfaced when the Cambridge native didn’t join Lopez at the Met Gala on May 6, where the singer/actress was serving as co-chair of the annual fashion soirée.
TMZ then published photos and videos on May 16 obtained over multiple days of Affleck seemingly living at a rental home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles instead of the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion.
Sources told multiple outlets, including People, Entertainment Tonight, and Us Weekly, that the couple was living separately while Affleck was filming “The Accountant 2.”
Lopez was also photographed around the same time seemingly house-hunting in Los Angeles.
The living arrangement was first discovered during a 47-day streak of Affleck and Lopez not being photographed together in public, during which Affleck was captured by paparazzi not wearing his wedding band.
Two days after appearing sans band, Affleck and Lopez arrived together for a movie event while both wearing their rings.
Jennifer Lopez cancels concert tour to “be with her children, family, and close friends”
On May 31, Lopez announced she was canceling her summer concert tour, with representatives saying the singer would be “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends” instead.
In a statement posted on her website, Lopez said that she was “devastated” by the decision to cancel her tour, which was set to kick off June 26 in Orlando and included a Boston date on August 7 at TD Garden.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Lopez wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”
