Nikki Sixx’s Wife Courtney Refuses To Raise A ‘Spoiled Trust Fund Baby’

(Rock Celebrities) - Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx and his wife Courtney Sixx moved to Wyoming from Los Angeles, and in their words, it’s the ‘best thing’ they could have done for their family since they refuse to raise a ‘spoiled trust fund baby.’

While the California native acknowledged her and Nikki’s continued love for Los Angeles and their friends in the city, in a recent interview with Fox News she expressed contentment with their decision to establish Wyoming as their permanent home. She also mentioned that the relocation has been particularly beneficial for their daughter Ruby:

“One thousand percent, we are so excited to be in Wyoming for so many reasons. I mean, all the obvious ones, that it’s God’s country, and it’s just so gorgeous. But also I think what’s really important to me  —what I love about it so much is — I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if Ruby grew up being entitled and spoiled and with these trust fund babies.”

She went on to clarify that raising a spoiled child is ‘nothing wrong’ and explained further:

“Nothing wrong with that at all. Nikki and I weren’t raised like that, and we already, we’re so blessed. And she’s so blessed.”

Wyoming’ Immediately Felt Like Home’

Sixx, Courtney, and their daughter Ruby moved to Wyoming in 2020. Though the couple decided to move to a place different than where they had been living, they did not want to be too far away from Los Angeles.

The family had been searching for five years for a summer retreat where they could engage in activities like fishing or skiing before ultimately deciding to move to Jackson Hole, which apparently ‘felt like home.’ Sixx told in an earlier interview:

“We looked around Cody, Cheyenne and then finally zeroed in on Jackson Hole. It immediately felt like home. The community is perfect.”

Sixx, a father of five, including four grown children, stated that he was confident Jackson Hole was the right choice for their family:

“I felt like my journey took me back to a place where I can go fishing and see the mountains. And then one day, my wife was like, ‘Why are we still here in California? This is a better place to raise our daughter.’ We find ourselves coming down to Los Angeles to see friends. But then we are happy to go back home. And we spend 95% of our time in Wyoming. It’s home.”

The rocker also highlighted that he is really grateful to be still creative at the age of 65 and be surrounded by good family and friends.
