Dynasty Financial Partners Adds Three New Members to Its Board of Directors with the Appointments of Henchy Enden, Avery Johnson and John Seifert

Dynasty Financial Partners, LLC (“Dynasty” or the “Company”) has announced that Henchy Enden, Avery Johnson, and John Seifert have joined the Board of Directors of the Company.

Henchy Enden is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for MFP Investors LLC, an investment management company based in New York, NY, where she has been employed since May 2004. She brings with her strong public company Director experience; most recently having joined the board of Avidbank Holdings in August 2022. Previously, she served as a director of the following companies: Atlantic Capital Bancshares from 2015 until its acquisition earlier this year, Bridgeview Bancorp from 2015 until 2019, First Security from 2013 until 2015, and West Coast Bancorp from 2012 to 2013.

Avery Johnson is the CEO and co-founder of Avery Capital, a commercial real estate private equity firm located in Dallas. Mr. Johnson advises on business dealings in a variety of sectors including oil and gas, multi-family, and logistics. Mr. Johnson brings a unique set of managerial experiences and leadership skills, developed throughout his multifaceted career as a professional athlete (NBA Champion with the San Antonio Spurs), both a NCAA basketball and NBA head coach (NBA Coach of Year with the Dallas Mavericks) and a professional investor, with experience in private equity and real estate investing.

John Seifert spent 42 years with The Ogilvy Group, an advertising and marketing services company, including serving as the CEO of Ogilvy from 2016 through 2020 and then as non-executive Chairman until the end of 2021. Mr. Seifert brings a career of experience and expertise in world-class brand building to the Dynasty Board. During his tenure at Ogilvy, Mr. Seifert led a growing portfolio of the firm’s most-valued global clients, including American Express, BP, Siemens, DuPont, Kraft, IBM, SAP, Kimberly-Clark, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Ford, SC Johnson, Unilever, Samsung, and many more. As Chairman of the Ogilvy Global Brand Community (the firm’s 50 largest client relationships), he was responsible for client service delivery on over $1 billion in annual revenue.

BIOGRAPHIES:

Henchy Enden is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for MFP Investors LLC, an investment management company based in New York, where she has been employed since May 2004. Previously, she served as a director of Atlantic Capital Bancshares Inc., a bank based in Atlanta, from 2015 until its acquisition in 2022, and of First Security, a bank purchased by Atlantic Capital, from 2013 until 2015. In addition, Ms. Enden previously served as a director of Bridgeview Bancorp, a bank in Chicago, Illinois, from 2015 until 2019, when it was acquired by First Midwest Bancorp. Ms. Enden also served as a director of West Coast Bancorp, a bank in Lake Oswego, Oregon, from 2012 until 2013, when it was acquired by Columbia Banking System, Inc. Ms. Enden holds a B.S. degree from Touro College and an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Ms. Enden’s qualifications to serve on our board of directors are primarily based on her in-depth knowledge of financial reporting and experience in serving on the boards of several banks.

Avery Johnson is the CEO and co-founder of Avery Capital, a commercial real estate private equity firm located in Dallas. Mr. Johnson advises on business dealings in a variety of sectors including oil and gas, multi-family, and logistics. Mr. Johnson was an NBA star with a sixteen-season career with the NBA, most notably helping guide the San Antonio Spurs to their 1999 NBA Championship. Mr. Johnson began his coaching career with the Dallas Mavericks in 2004 where he was named NBA Coach of the Year. He later joined the University of Alabama’s athletic department as the men’s head basketball coach where he guided the Crimson Tide to the 2018 NCAA tournament. Mr. Johnson also works as a broadcast analyst for ESPN & CBS Sports Network/HQ, where he is regularly featured. In 2008, Mr. Johnson published his second book, Aspire Higher: Winning On and Off the Court with Determination, Discipline and Decisions. Mr. Johnson’s qualifications to serve on our board of directors are primarily based on his managerial experience and leadership skills developed throughout his multifaceted career as a professional athlete, a college head coach and a professional investor with experience in private equity and real estate investing.

John Seifert retired on December 31, 2021, as non-executive Chairman of The Ogilvy Group (“Ogilvy”), an advertising and marketing services company and a subsidiary of WPP plc. Prior to that, Mr. Seifert spent 42 years with Ogilvy, including serving as the CEO of Ogilvy from January 2016 through December 31, 2020 and as the non-executive Chairman of Ogilvy from January 1 through December 31, 2021. From April 2019 through December 2020, Mr. Seifert also served on the executive committee of WPP plc. From January 2008 through January 2016, Mr. Seifert served as the CEO of Ogilvy North America. Mr. Seifert previously led the Ogilvy Global Brand Community, which managed relationships with Ogilvy’s most valued global clients, among which were many of the largest Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Seifert personally led the work on some of Ogilvy’s famous creative branding campaigns, including “Membership” for American Express, “Beyond Petroleum” for BP, and “Real Beauty” for Dove. Mr. Seifert currently serves as a national board member of Build On, a non-profit organization based in Stamford, CT dedicated to supporting at-risk high school students in the country’s most challenged urban neighborhoods through service-learning programs. Mr. Seifert’s qualifications to serve on our board of directors are primarily based on his experience serving executive roles and board positions.
