As President of First Clearing Correspondent Services, John is responsible for setting strategic direction for management to ensure satisfaction, retention and organic growth of the firm’s clearing correspondents. Prior to his current role, he was president of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, an independent contractor business, and also excelled in positions in which he led business development efforts for retail brokerage recruiting.
John earned his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University and his bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of William and Mary. He completed the Wachovia Executive Leadership program at the Keenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. John is currently a member of the SIFMA Independent Firms Committee, the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Development Board and the Financial Services Institute.
