The Wealth Advisor announces a Call For Papers on practice management strategies and solutions for Registered Investment Advisors (RIA's).
Last year the number of SEC-registered investment advisors (RIAs) was at a record high of 12,993, up 3.3% from 2018. These firms served more than 43 million clients and overseeing $83.7 trillion in assets.
And many of these firms are staffing up, with a total of 835,124 nonclerical employees, up nearly 4% from a year ago and 16% over the past five years. About half of these employees provide investment advisory services, up nearly 5% over 2018 according to a recent report In Barrons.
With over 400,000 advisors attached to these firms, the demand for advice and guidance on practice management is booming.
With no formal training other than qualifying for the FINRA Series 65 and 66 exams advisors are starved for knowledge on how to set up a practice, carry out marketing and maintaining compliance with the SEC and other ways to run their business.
TheWealthAdvisor.Com - America’s Voice of the Financial Advisor Community has committed to publishing (starting this Spring) an authoritative guide based on a crowdsourced collection paper from within the industry on how to get things done, called The RIA Redbook.
If you are in the RIA industry and wish to receive priceless exposure, build your reputation, grow your business—and get PAID for a written contribution to do it—then we recommend you apply to become a contributor.
The RIA Redbook promises to become a breakthrough tool for helping advisors grow their enterprise and AUM—and we’re looking for brilliant content contributors like you to make this Guide extraordinary.
If you currently have information, strategies, and resources—or you have the capacity to create something—we would love to showcase it in our first-ever print and digital editions.
We’ll pay you $500 for any article or content piece we use.
Submissions can cover any of the topics pertinent to advisors (listed on the cover and below) and should ideally range within 800-1300 words (flexible). Graphics are appreciated, but not essential, and we will handle all design and layout.
Deadlines for submissions are March 30th and content contributors must be pre-approved before consideration.
Details available in the “Get Started” tab to the right.
