Arnold Schwarzenegger And Maria Shriver Are Still Married Seven Years After Filing For Divorce

They separated after 25 years of marriage back in 2011.

And seven years later, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are still legally married, TMZ reports.

The 62-year-old journalist filed for divorce from the 70-year-old former Governor on July 1, 2011, but neither side has finalized the divorce to this point.

Maria filed for divorce after learning that Arnold had fathered a child - Joseph Baena - with their housekeeper Mildred Patricia "Patty" Baena.

The child was on October 2, 1997, only a few days after Maria gave birth to the couple's fourth child, Christopher.

But it wasn't until May of 2011 that it was revealed that the housekeeper's child was his.

The couple did not have a prenup, but according to TMZ, 'there was never any real custody beef, and 'they both quickly agreed on joint custody,' and now none of their children are minors.

They had an estimated $400 million at the time of their separation.

But the outlet reports, 'Sources connected to Arnold and Maria say there were bumps along the way in hammering out a settlement but, since the split is 50/50, there are no serious roadblocks.

Joseph is now 20-years-old and is close to his action star dad.

Maria and Arnold have four children together: Katherine, 27, Christina, 26, Patrick, 24, and Christopher, 20.

Since Maria filed, she has seemed to be on good terms with Arnold, and there have been family dinners at the Hotel Bel-Air and they support each other at events.

Maria has been dating but recently said she is now single.

Arnold, meanwhile, has been with blonde girlfriend Heather Mulligan for years.
